The tax day tea party in West Covina, California was dismal for a city with a population in excess of 100,000. When I arrived there were 18 people gathered around at the corner of Vincent Avenue and Plaza Drive, all holding signs about government greed, socialism, and claims of being taxed enough already. At the high point of the tax day protest, I counted 51 Anti-Government protestors although the San Gabriel Valley Tribune reported in this mornings news paper that there were 60 protestors.

One of the most disturbing signs said. “I’m thousands of dollars in debt and I’m only 10. The sign was held by 10-year old Christian Gosney who should have been
in school, but his mother Debbie thought otherwise.

I find this use of children as despicable as parents who drag their children to KKK rallies. The bottom line is that child abuse is child abuse no matter how you wrap it. Way to go Debbie Gosney! – One has to wonder where Mr. Gosney is in this family picture.
