Sharron Angle seems to have contracted palinitus. It's a condition that causes political candidates to lose cognative thinking abilities whenever they come into contact with the media.
Sharron Angle Palinitus Diagnosis Confirmed
GOP Candidate Sharron Angle Runs From Reporters At Her Own Press Conference
The GOP's Tea Party endorsed Senate candidate Sharron Angle held her first 3-minute press conference, but then literally ran away from reporters after being invited to stay for follow-up questions. Angle stood there grinning ear-to-ear as one of the final speakers said:
"Sharron Angle is indeed a hero among those of us that want a free and prosperous America."
However, the second that the same speaker took it upon himself to announce that he and Angle both had tight schedules, but would stick around for some follow-up questions from the press, Ms. Sharron literally pivoted on one heel and started walking towards an open door at the back of the building.
Angle suffers from Sarah Palin Syndrome which is brought on by being asked questions that she does not know the answer to, or does know the answer but can't say it without contradicting a pervious statement or looking like a total wing-nut. Like Sarah Palin, Angle unravels like a cheap sweater during tee-vee interviews and with each one, their total disconnect with mainstream America and perhaps even reality comes rushing to the surface.
Palin Shows Tea Party As Politically Unsophistocated
The Tea Party movement loves to express its affection for the Constitution. The Los Angeles Times writes, "Adherence to what supporters deem to be a strict interpretation of constitutional principles is a key tenet of the tea party movement."
In her speech at the rally, Sarah Palin of course paid homage to the Constitution. "Our vision for America is anchored in time-tested truths that the government that governs least governs best, that the Constitution provides the path to a more perfect union — it’s the Constitution," she exclaimed. And so it’s extremely puzzling that Palin introduced this new attack line against President Obama yesterday:
"In these volatile times when we are a nation at war, now more than ever is when we need a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor lecturing us from a lectern."
Just as Karl Rove suggested, the politically unsophistocated crowd cheered wildly at Palin’s line just because of the inflection of her voice.

Democrats Will Pass Health Care Within 60 Days
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) said Democrats will finish their health reform efforts within the next two months, The Hill reports.
Reid also confirmed that Democrats "would likely opt for a procedural tactic in the Senate allowing the upper chamber to make final changes to its healthcare bill with only a simple majority of senators, instead of the 60 it takes to normally end a filibuster."
Said Reid: "I've had many conversations this week with the president, his chief of staff, and Speaker Pelosi. And we're really trying to move forward on this."
Harry Reid, Rahm Emanuel Benefit From Tabloid Peddler Who Disses Obama
It is not suprising that the publisher of grocery store and newsstand garbage like The Globe, The National Enquirer, and Star Magazine is a Pecker. No seriously! - David J. Pecker is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Media, Inc .
American Media, Inc. (AMI) is the leading publishing company in the celebrity journalism and health & fitness categories. In the past 7 years, AMI has grown to become the 4th largest consumer magazine publisher in the country, and #2 in retail magazine sales. Our 16 titles reach over 50 million readers and we publish 6 of the top 15 best selling weekly newsstand titles in the country.
I was very upset by the cover of the globe shown at the top of this post. While tee-vee and movie celebrities except this type of garbage as the nature of the beast, I think that the President of The United States should not be subjected to such rediculous commentary. In my browsing of the websites of some of these tabloids, I found that other political figures have been targets and include: former President George W. Bush, Sen. John McCain, and former Gov. Sarah Palin.
Regardless of my opinion of George W. Bush, he was the president of this country for 8 years and at a minimun, derseves his privacy now that he's out of office. Not to be accused of going on drinking binges and reports that hes has become suicidal after leaving office.
That being said, hold on to your hats, because what I discovered in reasearching American Media for this blog post, left me feeling sick and queezy. While looking into Mr. Peckers SEC filing and particularly campaign contributions, it read like a who's-who of Capitol Hill with none other then

Other beneficiaries of the generous Pecker:
Charles Schumer (D),
Robert Wexler(D),
Christie Todd Whitman(R),
Steve Forbes (R),
Jeb Hensarling (R),
Robert F. Bennett (R),
Ben Nelson (D),
Christopher (Kit) Bond, etal.
Since 1989, David J. Pecker as contributed overwhelmingly to Democrats, but not to the Democratic Party itself. The Republican Party isn't much of a beneficiary since receiving only a measly $500 on June 18, 2002 and another $270 on Denember 9, 2002.

I planned on going into depth with this blog post, but I'm going to have to leave it here. I wann't to get started on a few emails to Harry Reid and Rahm Enamuel fortwith!!!!!!!

Robert Gates And Hillary To GOP Leaders: You’re Putting Our Security At Risk
I’ve obtained a copy of the letter, which was sent to GOP leaders John Boehner and Mitch McConnell and Dem leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, though the obvious targets are the Republicans, who have opposed the IMF funding. Gates and Clinton significantly up the stakes, saying that the IMF funding would reduce the threat of terrorism.
The battle over the IMF funding is at the center of the big battle on Capitol Hill over the war spending bill. House Republicans are strongly opposed to including in the bill the IMF funding, which the White House wants to fulfill a pledge to foreign leaders to fund the IMF to help foreign economies weather the downturn.
In the letter, Gates, Clinton and a third signatory, National Security Adviser James Jones, say the IMF plays a key role in reducing the “security risks” the crisis “poses to our nation and the world.” The crisis, it says, risks destabilizing foreign economies, producing “unforeseeable reactions.”
Ironically, Boehner and Eric Cantor have justified their opposition to the IMF funding on national security grounds, claiming it could help state sponsors of terror. But that case could be tougher to make, now that Gates, Clinton and Jones say funding the IMF is necessary to reduce the terror threat and enhance our security.
Roland Burris - Bolgo's Brother Wiretaps Released
Burris has been under intense scrutiny because of the circumstances of his appointment by the disgraced former governor and for changing his story multiple times about whether he promised anything in exchange for the appointment. The Senate Ethics Committee has begun a preliminary investigation. The Sangamon County State's Attorney is determining whether perjury charges are warranted.
U.S. District Chief Judge James F. Holderman on Tuesday unsealed a government motion requesting permission to release to the ethics committee wiretap material gathered in the Blagojevich investigation. The material consists of a conversation between Burris and the impeached governor's brother, businessman Robert Blagojevich, who headed the Friends of Rod Blagojevich campaign fund. Rod Blagojevich is charged with scheming to trade or sell the seat and using the political muscle of his office to squeeze people for campaign money. Robert Blagojevich is under indictment along with his brother and a number of other members of the ousted governor's inner circle. Both brothers deny wrongdoing.
Holderman told attorneys for Robert Blagojevich, Burris and the government that "the material will be released to the Senate shortly."
Robert Blagojevich attorney Michael Ettinger and Burris attorney Timothy Wright did not object to the government's motion. "I think that the senator has told the truth every time," Wright said. He acknowledged that his client had told the impeachment committee that he didn't volunteer to raise money for Blagojevich in exchange for the seat.
"And we think he has been perfectly consistent," Wright said.
Burris spokesman Jim O'Connor said the senator would cooperate and "welcomes this as a chance for more transparency and the opportunity for the full truth to come out."
The Sangamon County state's attorney's office said it had no comment on the status of its review of possible perjury charges against Burris.
Burris testified before the House Committee that impeached Blagojevich in January that he didn't promise anything in exchange for the Senate seat. Blagojevich appointed Burris just before being kicked out of office. U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., agreed to seat Burris if he gave a full accounting of his Blagojevich contacts to the Illinois House committee that was considering impeachment of the governor.
Burris gave the committee an affidavit denying any discussion with Blagojevich's aides before being offered the seat. But when he testified, Burris acknowledged talking to one of Blagojevich's friends and informal advisers about it.
Burris did not admit talking to anyone else and said he could not recall any other contacts.
Then, after he was sworn in, Burris released another affidavit acknowledging he had talked to several Blagojevich advisers about his interest in the seat. Soon after, talking to reporters, he said he had been asked to help raise campaign money for the governor and that he tried to find people willing to donate but failed. Then he stopped answering questions, letting others speak on his behalf. Durbin said it would be unfair to speculate about what's in the recorded conversation between Burris and Robert Blagojevich.
"Let's wait until the transcript is released, the tape is released. If there's a problem, let Sen. Burris address it," Durbin said at an unrelated news conference in Chicago.
