In Janurary after The Associated Press called Massachusetts's special Senate election for Scott Brown, Sarah Palin began a media tour, beginning on Fox News of course, and hailed the Republican's win as "a step for taking our country back."
Palin spokeswoman Meg Stapleton told POLITICO the following
"Gov. Palin spoke with a very happy Sen.-elect Brown this evening and congratulated him on his most historic victory for not only Massachusetts but the nation,"
Palin said: "This is a referendum on all those things that President Obama has been standing for," the 2008 vice presidential candidate told Fox's Greta Van Susteren. "It was many different factors all coming together — and thank God for that, I think a lot of the people will say, because this is a step for taking our country back."
In a posting on her Facebook page, Palin added: "Americans cheered for Scott Brown’s underdog campaign because they viewed his candidacy as a vote against the Democrats' health care bill."
But that's all over now. Since making good on his campaign promise to serve the will of his constituents, Sarah Palin is washing her hands of Brown for not pushing the conservative agenda no matter what.
On Fox Business Wednesday The former Alaska governor said that "you dance with the one that brought you" and that Republicans should not "follow the herd" by going along with the Obama-Pelosi-Reid agenda.
This prompted Fox to ask if Scott Brown was "on notice," adding that "he's gone along with the Pelosi-Reid message for the past couple of votes."
PALIN: "That's Massachusetts," Palin replied. "And perhaps they're not going to look for such a hard-core constitutional conservative there and they're going to put up with Scott Brown and some of the antics there. But here in Alaska and so many places across the U.S. where we have a pioneering spirit and we have an expectation that our representatives in D.C. will respect the will of the people and respect the intelligence of the people. We wouldn't stand for that."
And once again, Palin shoots herself in the foot by displaying her political ignorance and for not understanding that the "will of the people" in Alaska has nothing to do with the will of the people in Massachsetts. She doesn't understand that the citizens of Massachusetts also have expectation that their representatives in D.C. will respect their will and not the will of the GOP.
This shouldn't come as any surprise to conservatives since Brown said during his camapign that he will sever the people of Massachusetts, but I suppose they were too focused on claiming Ted Kennedy's seat as a priority. I suppose that anything Brown said during the campaign was a bridge they would cross when they got to it.
Well....Sarah, meet bridge. Bridge, meet Sarah.
Fortunately this appears to be a bridge to somewhere. In a video titled "Palin's Winning Touch" they allow palin to take a victory lap over Joe Miller's predicted win over Lisa Merkowski. But it quickly turns into a blast against Scott Brown for voting with democrats a few times on issues important to the citizens of Massachusetts.

Sarah Palin's "Take Our Country Back" View Of Scott Brown Goes Down In Flames On Fox
Dear Dr. Laura and Sarah Palin: Please Read The First Amendment Before Speaking
Ironically, for as big of a role that the Constitution plays in Sarah Palins political ideology, it’s a subject that she seems to know very little about. Even most 8th graders could articulate that the First Amendment only provides protection to citizens from Government attempts to restrict or obstruct the right to free speech. This misguided interpretation of the Constitution has been a growing trend within the Republican Party as well as their public relation arms otherwise known as The Fox News Channel and The Tea Party. They claim to be defenders of the constitution while simultaneously adapting an “ala Carte” approach to that very document.
When President Obama weighed in on the “Ground Zero Mosque” debate, he reminded everyone about the constitutional right of freedom to practice religion and the constitutional restriction for Government to establish or impose religion upon the people. Yet from Republicans comes talk about using the power of the legislative branch to ban the issuance of building permits for the construction of places of worship for a single religion. Also from republicans comes talk of amending the 14th Amendment of the Constitution to deny citizenship to a group of people that are primarily of a single ethnicity. Now that Glenn Beck has reformatted his Fox News show into a daily revisionist history lesson about the constitution, it’s becoming quite a task to even maintain the perception of being Fair & Balanced. If anything, Beck is simply preaching to the choir or to that segment of people that are politically unsophisticated, yet predisposed to embrace anything anti-Obama.
Even in her defense of Dr. Laura, Sarah Palin couldn’t resist using references to weapons and war in her Twitter post. Instead of encouraging Dr. Laura to standup and not back down from the public outrage, Palin urged her to "reload" and not "retreat," declaring that she'd be "even more powerful" and "effective" without "the shackles."

After the controversy erupted with calls for Dr. Laura's resignation, including from Media Matters for America, Schlessinger admitted the following day she did the "wrong thing." But just like Sarah Palin, Dr. Laura doesn’t seem to understand that public outrage over offensive remarks, regardless of outcome or consequences, are not an infringement upon First Amendment rights. Government is the sole entity from which that protection exists. Nevertheless, Dr. Laura lashed out at her critics using this false narrative.
"My First Amendment rights have been usurped by angry, hateful groups who don't want to debate," Schlessinger said. "They want to eliminate."
These are simple realities of life that people like Dr. Laura cannot seem to understand. Instead, they rationalize them in ways that minimize their responsibility and redirect some or all of the blame elsewhere. Why can’t she understand that as an employee of a radio network she is obligated to refrain from saying anything that would seriously offend listeners or drive away corporate advertisers. In fact, such an obligation is basically a conditional waiver of your right to say whatever you want.
Here’s the condition! – It’s really simple! - Unless you own your own radio station and do not rely on corporate advertisers for revenue, or answer to a Board of Directors or stockholders, you have no right to free speech behind that microphone. You’re a fucking employee and guess what? – If you cross the line your ass is fired!

A Chip Off The Old Mama Grizzle Block
Sarah Palin has once again showed her utter disconnect with reality of everything that has nothing to do with Sarah Palin. It reminds me of that Saturday Night Live skit from the 80's about the father and son team that own the "Scotch Tape Store" - Scotch Tape is all that they sell and you can buy the 49 cent roll, or the 89 cent roll and that's it.
The Palins have found a way to make that business model work, except their only inventory is Sarah Palin. You can buy the Sarah Palin that will promote whatever you want her to promote, or you can buy the Sarah Palin that will say whatever you want her to say. Either way, they're just business transaction that have nothing to do with the country or the constitution. It's all about her own the bottom.
We got good look at that behavior during a visit that Sarah and Todd made to Homer, Alaska - They crossed paths with a local woman with 30-foot long sign that said :
"WORST GOVERNOR EVER"
Her name is Kathleen Gustafson and she was hopinhg that Palin would see the sign and she did. She also couldn't resist the temptation to confront Kathleen , a teacher married to a local commercial fisherman. She felt like Sarah Palin had let the state down by resigning as Governor. and she told Palin what she thought about it.
Kathleen: You swore on your precious Bible that you would uphold the interests of this state, and then when cash was waved in front of your face, you quit.
Palin had a few options of how she could responded, but as I said, Palin has a serious disconnect with how most people perceive things, which is vital in politics. Palin can't see that because other peoples perceptions are a nuisance and only serve to clutter up her own reality.
When Kathleen made mention of the "cash" that was "waived in Palin's face" there was no commennt about that and Palin just dodged it like she was in The Matrix. Instead, she shot back with a little snarky comment that sounded more like something an 8th grade girl would say.
Palin: OH, you WANTED me to be your governor! I’m honored! Thank you!
Palin second mistake was using the word "honor" in any of its tenses. It was a mistake like Newt Gingrich recently made on his website when he wrote about the repeal of California's Prop 8 and how it was an assult on "The sancity of marriage" - Oops! This from a man that walked out on his cancer stricken wife.
But this is typical of people like Palin and Gingrich that are blind from what they really need to be seeing. Newt got an earful from his readers because he couldn't understand that it might not be a good idea to speak so high and mighty on the sanctity of marriage when you've walked out on your own wife as she was battling cancer. Or in Sarah Palin's case, saying that you're honored that someone wanted you to be Governor when you walked out on the job before it was done. This woman, Kathleen let Palin know what her idea of "honor" was and Palin walked right into it because, like Newt, they just don't get it or do and don't care.
Kathleen: I wanted you to honor your responsibilities. That is what I wanted. I wanted you to be part of the political process instead of becoming a celebrity so that you could (inaudible). And if that’s the best you could do, then good for you. If that’s the best you could do.
Palin launched right into her sales pitch about "I'm fighting for America" and for "Americans to be able to have a Constitution protected so that we can have free speech" - Really? - She's going to tell this to a woman that was already in the process of exercising her constitutional rights to free speech. Sarah Palin could not see that even though the woman was holding a 30 foot long calling her "The Worst Governor Ever" It was laughable.
It's a stunning exchange and one that I'm glad was captured on videotape. Another example of this was when Palins daughter tried to defend her mom, which you would expect because that's her mom. I wouldn't expect anything less from anyone else in the defence of a parent or a child. But it was what she said to Kathleen that made it quite clear that in the Palin family, the fruit does not fall far from the tree.
Palin: Here’s the deal. Here’s the deal. (inaudible) That’s what I’m out there fightin’ for"
Kathleen: In what way are you fighting for that?
Palin: Oh my goodness!
Kathleen: In what way?
Palin: To elect candidates who understand the Constitution, to protect our military interests so that we can keep on fightin’ for our constitution that will protect some of the freedoms that evidently are important to you too.
Kathleen: By using your celebrity status, certainly not by political status.
Palins Daughter: How is she a celebrity? That’s my question.
Palin: I’m honored! No, she thinks I’m a celebrity!
Palins Daughter: That’s funny that you think she is.(a celebrity)
For Palin and her daughter to be surprised and not understand how this woman came to the conclusion that Palin is a celebrity is amazing! - And then for Mama Grizzle herself to sarcastically say that she was "honored" that this woman thought she a celebrity was just insulting. Maybe the security detail and the camera crew for Palins upcoming reality show was a good indicator. Yet neither mother nor daughter could seem to put that puzzle together.
Whatever is behind Sarah Palin's disconnect with everyday realities, it's hereditary.
Is Sarah Palin Honestly Endorsing Candidates or Just Picking Ponies?
Beginning with Doug Hoffman, Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin jumped into the political endorsement arena as a way of keeping her own notoriety worthy of endorsing political candidates. Yes, I know! - It makes as much sense as powdered water, but I digress.
The issue with Sarah Palin's endorsement so far, is that she hasn't been playing the game long enough to understand the nuances of party politics and the negative consequences that may result from her endorsements. Particularly in consideration of some high-ranking Republican feathers that some endorsements have ruffled along the way. This either means that Palin doesn't understand how big of a factor this will be should she want to toss her hat in the ring for the 2012 Republican nomination, or it means that she does understand and simply doesn't care.
Palin endorsed Tea Party Candidate Vaughn Ward to gain the Republican nomination so that he could oust Democratic Rep. Walt Minnick. It should be noted that Ward was facing charges that he plagiarized portions of Barack Obama's 2004 Democratic National Convention speech and used them in his own campaign speech in January.
The allegations came after a series of missteps by Ward's campaign. Ward then fired his campaign manager following an embarrassing discovery that he (the campaign manager) had copied portions of various other political speeches. Ward later sought to rebound from that setback with an appearance with Sarah Palin. Even though Ward's campaign was in the midst of a plagiarism scandal, Palin endorsed the him anyway. Ward lost by nearly 10 percentage points to Republican rival Raul Labrador, 48.1% to 38.8% in the Idaho primary.
Next up was Palin's endorsement of GOP nominee Cecile Bledsoe for Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District. On her Facebook page, Palin wrote the following about Cecile Bledsoe and misspelled the candidates name 4 out of 4 times.
"Just had a great talk with Cecil Bledsoe (and talk about “boots on the ground” in her grassroots campaign, she answered her own campaign phone when I called). She’s an inspiring individual whom I’m happy to support. Cecil is another Commonsense Conservative “mama grizzly” running for Congress this year. Her mission to protect our great country’s freedom is so commendable. Cecil is a pro-family, pro-2nd Amendment, fiscal conservative who will work hard for the people in Arkansas’ 3rd Congressional District. Please join me in supporting another member of the “pink elephant stampede” of Commonsense Constitutional Conservative women who will take this country back to our roots of limited government and fiscal responsibility. Please vote for Cecil on Tuesday, June 8th." - Sarah Palin
Bledsoe lost to Steve Womack.
Then Sarah Palin endorsed Todd Tiahrt in the Republican battle for Kansas Senate. Tiahrt's website promoted the Palin endorsement and reprinted the personal message Palin sent out via her facebook page. Notice how Palin's written endorsement of Mr. Tiahrt isn't nearly as long as her endorsement of Ms. Bledsoe or any other female candidates that Palin has endorsed. Here are the 40 measly words that Palin wrote on bahalf of Tiahrt.
"I want to remind the good people of Kansas to vote on Tuesday for Todd Tiahrt for U.S. Senate. He is a strong commonsense conservative who will serve Kansans with honor and help put our country on the right fiscal track."
Tiahrt lost his primary bid to Congressman Jerry Moran.
Palin then used the magic of her FaceBook page to endorse House candidate CeCe Heil in the Republican primary race for Tennessee's 5th Congressional District. On her website, Heil also promoted the endorsement and reprinted Palin's personal message that was sent out to the millions of Palin's FaceBook Friends.
"I’m pleased to lend my support to CeCe Heil’s campaign for Congress from Tennessee’s 5th District. CeCe is another tough “mama grizzly” with the experience, passion, and integrity to restore some common sense to Washington. As a small business owner, attorney, constitutional scholar, and proud mother of two, she will fight tirelessly to protect our freedoms and rein in the excesses of an out-of-control federal government that seems set on spending away our children’s future. CeCe brings the business sense and the constitutional understanding that is so needed in DC right now. Please join me in supporting CeCe Heil’s campaign by visiting her website at www.ceceforcongress.com and following her on Facebook and Twitter."
Heil lost finishing 3rd in the primary with less votes than both Jeff Hartline, the second place finisher endorsed by Mike Huckabee, and the eventual victor, businessman Dave Hall.
Palin's endorsements are very willy-nilly to say the least. In some cases, she is endorses serious conservative candidates that can win or are already predicted to win, but she has also endorsed some serious long-shots like Sharron Angle of Nevada.
Angle has lost 11 percentage point in the span of a week against Harry Reid. I think that it is due to her religiously based bigotry and her contempt for the media. Between now and election night, Harry Reid would need to be caught with a dead hooker buried under 20 kilos of cocaine in the trunk of his car for Angle to have a fighting chance. But of course, that's only my opinion. What do I know?
NYDaily News Poll: 94% Will Not Watch Sarah Palins TLC Premere 6% Will
The eight-part series, produced by reality king Mark Burnett, will feature the former Alaskan governor, her family, and for at least one episode, Kate Gosselin and her children.
However, in a New York Daily News poll that asked it's readers if they would watch the premere. 6% responded Yes, it'll give us a good glimpse of the real Sarah Palin.
94% responded No, I've seen enough of her in the last two years.
Yikes!
Another Palin Endorsed Candidate Goes Down In Flames
From HuffPO
Sarah Palin-backed House candidate CeCe Heil finished third in the Republican primary race for Tenneessee's 5th Congressional District Thursday, handing the former Alaska Governor her second failed endorsement this week.
Back in July, Palin lent her support to Heil in a Facebook post that described the "mama grizzly" as a "small business owner, attorney, constitutional scholar, and proud mother of two" who would "fight tirelessly to protect our freedoms and rein in the excesses of an out-of-control federal government that seems set on spending away our children's future."
Heil, who prominently featured her Palin connection on her campaign website, tallied less votes than both Jeff Hartline, the second place finisher endorsed by Mike Huckabee, and the eventual victor, businessman Dave Hall. The top three finishers in the contest were separated by a mere 350 votes.
Sarah Palin's Alaskan Gas Pipeline Project Likely Scrapped
On June 26, 2010 Sarah Palin was speaking at The Oil Palace in Tyler, Texas about energy independance. It was the same old Sarah Palin from the 2008 campaign trail. She started by saying how she has been spending alot of time in Texas lately and of course because Texas is a great, beautiful, patriotic State.
During the rest of the 5 minute speech, Palin said a whole lot about nothing in that random order that has become here trademark. The crowd applauded enthusiastically from time to time and as usual, it was never for anything of political substance or for an original thought of her own, but rather for one of her predictable jabs about what Obama doesn't seem to understand.
I was surprised that Palin would even want to speak publically about energy with her $40 billion pipline up in Alaska currently being uncovered as a shady deal that is most likely going to leave tax-payers on the hook for 500 million. If you recall during the 2008 campaign, Palin claimed,
“I fought to bring about the largest private-sector infrastructure project in North American history. And when that deal was struck, we began a nearly forty billion dollar natural gas pipeline to help lead America to energy independence.”
The problem with her saying "we began a nearly fourty billion dollar natural gas pipeline to help lead America to energy independence" is because the contract to build the pipeline to bring natural gas from Alaska to the Lower 48 States is just a concept that exist on paper only. There was no pipeline then, there is no pipline now, and it is now likely that there never will be a pipeline, at least not a pipline that Sarah Palin will have anything to do with.
On August 27, 2008, Palin signed The Alaska Gasline Inducement Act into law, which awarded a Canadian energy company a license and $500 million dollars as an incentave to "someday" build and operate the pipeline. It was supposed to carry natural gas from the North Slope, but since the contract doesn't explain how the gas was supposed to get to the lower 48, the gas would have to been sold to Canada or shipped off to China. So Palin's claim that this pipline was going to help bring America closer to energy independence was also a bunch of hooey.
Palin said it again during the the vice-presidential debate
"we’re building a nearly $40 billion natural gas pipeline — which is North America’s largest and most expensive infrastructure project ever — to flow those sources of energy into hungry markets.”
Maybe Palin doesn't know that (we're) buliding a pipeline means the same as (we are) building a pipeline. With every twist and turn into an AP investigation comes more revolations of Sarah Palin's questionable ethics. Particularly in the bidding process that eventually went to a company that Palin had connections with.
Palin claimed there was a "smart and fair bidding process" - but the AP found that her team crafted terms that favored only a few independent pipeline companies and ultimately benefited the winner, TransCanada Corp.
Despite promises and legal guidance not to talk directly with potential bidders, Palin had meetings or phone calls with nearly every major candidate, including TransCanada. The leader of Palin's pipeline team had been a partner at a lobbying firm where she worked on behalf of a TransCanada subsidiary. That woman's former business partner at the lobbying firm was TransCanada's lead private lobbyist on the pipeline deal, interacting with legislators in the weeks before the vote to grant TransCanada the contract.
Additionally, a former TransCanada executive served as an outside consultant to Palin's pipeline team. Under a different set of rules four years earlier, TransCanada had offered to build the pipeline without a state subsidy; under Palin, the company could receive a maximum $500 million.
Contrary to Palin's campaign promises to "build a pipeline quickly," the massive project to send natural gas south is still no sure thing. In fact, according to the Jeneau Empire, the bill was so poorly conceived that the state was urged to cut it losses at the time by former state petroleum economist Roger Marks, who said,
“State leaders made faulty assessments in their quest to land the long-sought pipeline project.”
I wonder why Glenn Beck isn't offering up one of his "Oh Gee That's Funny" comments in his Kermet The Frog voice about these very suspicious set of circumstances? - If the pipeline was all that she painted it out to be, perhaps Palin should have stuck around the Governors office long enough to see the project through.
Sarah Palin Tries Speaking Spanglish On Fox News - WTF?
Sarah Palin takes a shot at speaking Spanglish by inserting a slang term in Spanish during an interview on Fox News with Chris Wallace. When asked about the temporary ban on key provisions of the Arizona immigration law, Palin inserted an inappropriate slang word in Spanish.
She said that Arizona Governor Jan Brewer has the "cajones" or the "balls" that President Obama doesn't when it comes to immigration and securing the border.
Why wouldn't Palin just use the slang term in English? - Does saying something offensive in another language make it any less inappropriate?. Or could it be that this pinche' pendeja isn't even aware that she was basically asserting that Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has testicles and that Obama doesn't.

Gingrich/Palin In 2012 or Palin/Gingrich? You Decide
Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Monday he's seriously considering seeking the Republican presidential nomination and will announce his decision early next year.
With his and Sarah Palins name always making leading the watercooler discussion, the question is:
The question is rhetorical of course. There is not a building large enough to accomodate both egos at the same time regardless of the line up. Here's the big elephant sitting in the middle of the room for the GOP.
Palin gives $87K to Candidates - Spends $210K on Consulting Fees
Sarah Palin's Mama Grizzly Ad Is Proof That She Is In For 2012, Sort Of?
If that is indeed it's underlying intent, it was a good idea. Sarah Palin my not be qualified in her lifetime to become the president of the united states, but she is most certainly qualified for the arena of political consulting. Let's face it, the women can attract crowds by the thousands regardless of her qualifications or lack thereof for high office.
However, having the ability to prompt that many people to show up at one place at the same time on behalf of an even moderately qualified candidate is a valuable asset. For as critical as I have been of Sarah Palin's lack of qualifications for high office, she is well qualified if the task is to draw crowds on behalf of someone that may be even moderately qualified.
Sarah Palin Has Another Katie Couric Moment On Fox News
Once again, former Gov. Sarah Palin goes on tee-vee and stumbles for answers that she doesn't know. Thankfully she was on Fox News and had Bill O'Reilly there to feed here the answers.
You can always tell when Palin is stalling for time because instead of answering the question, she'll have some other point that she want's to make first. Amazingly this happened with the very first question as you will see in the video after the jump.
Rand Paul: Idolized By Tea Party As Palin With A Penis
Dr. Rand Paul may be a skilled surgeon in the operating room, but on the national political stage he's nothing more then Sarah Palin with a penis. They are both Tea Party heros and when you think about it, just how difficult of a task is it to win these wingnuts over?
It's simple! - Just say the craziest shit you can think of and when you refer to the constitution or the founding fathers, do it in a way that makes it seem as if you were actually there when the fucking thing was written. You'll have thier complete and undivided attention. It's like walking through the dog pound with a pocket full of snausages. Video after the jump
Is Sarah Palin Telling Terrorists Where "Real Americans" live?
Hell, one good Saturday morning pancake breakfast in small town "Real America" could bring out 75% of the cities population to the Piggily-Wiggily parking lot like cattle going to the slaughter house. At least, that's the message that Sarah Palin seems to be un-intentionally communicating.

Sarah Palin Shares Her Immigration Policy Experience On Fox News
Have you ever been to an elementary school talent show and listened to a child sing so badly that you cringe at the noise coming from thier mouth? -- That's what it's like to watch Alaska's half-term former Governor Sarah Palin trying to make a point while sharing her pearls of wisdom on Fox News.
Was there not a single person available more knowledgable on the subject of immigration from a historical, as well as a current day standpoint? I'm sure there must have been, but I suppose you couldn't spin a topic Fox News style if you're discussing the issue with someone that knows what in the hell they are talking about.
Where is Sarah Palin's immigration policy experience? - Is it up there in the thin air where she keeps her foreign policy experience? - Is that it? -- Because she can see the border between Russia from Alaska from land in Alaska she's suddenly an expert on immigration. -- Really? -- I can see Mt. Baldy from my kitchen window, but that doesn't make me a mountian climber! -- So far the only conclusion that I can draw from the conservative talking points on "border security" is that Mexican's are smarter then Russians and Canadians? - Or the issue of "border security" only refers to the Mexican border and not those other borders between us and our fair complected neighbors to the north. Therefore, as far as Fox News is concerned -- "border security" only refers to the border between The United States and Mexico and the term "illegal immigrant" only refers to Mexicans.
As with all of Palin's tee-vee appearances, she tosses out a few buzz words about the topic at hand, but uses the majority of the segment to blast President Obama not for the bullshit she tries to claim, but to retaliate for the electorial bitch slapping he gave to her and John McCain back in 2008 -- This is textbook behavior for Sarah "The Retaliator" Palin. Just ask Trooper Wooten, or former Alaska Safety Comissioner Walter Monaghan, or the libraian back in Wasilla, or Levi Johnston. Ask anyone who has either questioned her authority, caught her in a lie, caused her any embarrassment due to no fault of thier own, or compeated against her and won. That's the sore spot that get's her bi-polar disorder enflamed like a scortching case of genital herpes. It's her strike zone and if your in it, she can't help herself. She has no choice but to attack regardless of how transparent her ture motives are.
Watch her and Sean Hannity try to get somebody to believe that a law that effects only one racial segment of society can be facilitated without racial profiling. That's like telling a dog catcher to go out and round up just the Chihuahua's, but you can't just stop an animal because it looks like a Chihuahua, or because it barks like a Chihuahua. You gotta catch it digging through trash cans first or trying to bite the postman. Then you can do whatever is necessary to determine that it is infact a Chihuahua and not someones licensed pet. If Arizona law enforcement officers are going to investigate citizenship or resident alien status of individuals already "suspected" of criminal activity, they are already mandated to optain valid identification from all persons detained regardless if they are booked into custody, or released with or without a citation.

Sarah Palin Paid Big $$$ For Her Oswald Bates Speaking Style
.
When Sarah Palin returned to Alaska after losing her bid for the vice presidency, being Governor of Alaska wasn't the shiney penny that it was before she left to be Sen. John McCains running mate. No matter how stunning the defeat, the excitement of being on the campaign trail made her feel more important then ever before in her life.
Suddenly, being Governor must have seemed as mundane as the Mayors office back in podunk Wisilla. Since resigning as Governor halfway through her term in office last July, Sarah Palin has earned the combined salaries of Alaska Governors for the last 20 years.
The details of Palin's "speaking" contract [PDF] with the California State University, Stanislaus Foundation were contained in five pages of the document retrieved from a campus trash bin by students. It outlines just how lucrative the speaking circuit is for the controversial ex-governor has become. Below are just a few of the highlights for the PDF file above.

For those who are considering to shell out their hard earned, or not so hard earned money to ask this nutty broad a question, it won't be much different than a Q&A session with Oswald Bates. If you're not familiar with the verbally challenged Mr. Bates, here's a video reminder below.
P.S. To all of those Republicans out there in Washington and at Fox News, you can stop spinning to possibility of a Sarah Palin 2012 run for the White House. The money is too good for her to give up anytime soon. And also too! - So are the perks, you betcha!

Dear Sarah Palin: Please Google Before You Speak
Sarah Palin needs google everything she plans on saying before she says it. Yet again she blast Obama, this time for his "nuclear-free world" comment. Then she throws out Ronald Regan's name to ralley the crowd into thunderous applause. As if Ronald Regan would scoff at such an idea. Then Stewart plays a video of Ronald Regan saying the same God Damn that Obama said! -- If anything, it's proof positive that Sarah Palin and the Tea Party people are politically unsophisticated and historically challanged and Fox News may be responsible for that.
Stewart:
"So here's where we're at: We're at the point now that the by far No. 1-ranked news network in this country no longer feels the need to accurately report what a policy document says in black and white. And once you free yourself from the fetters of fact shackles -- or fackles -- in the present day, you'd be amazed at what you can do to the facts from the past."

Palin Shows Tea Party As Politically Unsophistocated
The Tea Party movement loves to express its affection for the Constitution. The Los Angeles Times writes, "Adherence to what supporters deem to be a strict interpretation of constitutional principles is a key tenet of the tea party movement."
In her speech at the rally, Sarah Palin of course paid homage to the Constitution. "Our vision for America is anchored in time-tested truths that the government that governs least governs best, that the Constitution provides the path to a more perfect union — it’s the Constitution," she exclaimed. And so it’s extremely puzzling that Palin introduced this new attack line against President Obama yesterday:
"In these volatile times when we are a nation at war, now more than ever is when we need a commander-in-chief, not a constitutional law professor lecturing us from a lectern."
Just as Karl Rove suggested, the politically unsophistocated crowd cheered wildly at Palin’s line just because of the inflection of her voice.

Sean Hannity Goes All In For Palin......Alone!
President Obama is considered by many to be, academically and intellectually, one of the smartest presidents to ever take office -- true or not, it's indisputable that he is well-educated.
Even Fox News contributor Juan Williams couldn't stomach Hannity's gushing over Sarah Palin's appearance on Jay Leno's show. Hannity said: ". . . I think she's gone a long way to opening the door for people to say, all right, maybe she was treated unfairly." as if defending herself from her own stupidity was an accomplishment.
Williams conceded that she was "very human and funny . . . I think she is a superstar, a centerfold for conservative men," but went on to say that she's not likely to convince 75% of the American public who don't think she's qualified to be president. Hannity went all in and said: "I think she's brilliant, I think she's gutsy, I think she's courageous, and I'll tell you what, I think she's smarter than Barack Obama. She wouldn't lead us into this socialist utopia . . . ."
Smarter than Barack Obama? Five colleges in six years to get a bachelors degree? Couldn't explain the office of Vice President of the United States -- the job she was applying to the American public for -- four times? And those "gotcha" interviews with Katie Couric and Charlie Gibson . . . whew, sharp intellect are not the words that instantly spring to mind.
Juan Williams reacted the way many Americans react to this statement, except he didn't keep his composure to a limit as most of Hannity's Great American Panel. "You are so wild on this point," he told Hannity, ". . . Your libido is . . . getting in the way of your thinking."
Hannity insisted that he'd take "Governor Palin as President over Barack Obama, to which Williams incredulously replied, "Come on . . . You would trust her with our national security over Barack Obama . . . you'd rather listen to her explain national policy than Barack Obama?" This earned an emphatic "yes" from Hannity -- which goes to show that thinking with a libido doesn't merely interfere with thinking, it turns men of otherwise average intelligence into blithering idiots. I mean, come on -- it was on Hannity's own show that Palin seemed to not know the difference between Iran and Iraq.
Hannity, accused by Williams of being "self-righteous," protested that Williams was trying to diminish Palin, and claimed, "What if I started commenting on Michelle Obama's looks? . . . We don't go after Barack Obama's wife and what she wears and her clothes . . . nobody does." Wow, then this must have been somebody pretending to be Sean Hannity on Sean Hannity's radio show who ridiculed Michelle Obama's clothes when she went overseas and claimed she was wearing designer clothes so people would call her "Jackie Kennedy." Of course, in his defense, most of his smears have nothing to do with clothing, like when he implied that Michelle was a racist, unpatriotic, and said she was "bitter and angry."
(And as an aside, Williams can't exactly take the high road on this one either. He's slammed Michelle Obama on more than one occasion, at one time saying she has "this Stokely Carmichael-in-a-designer-dress thing going" and that she could be a "liabilit[y]" or an "albatross" for President Obama.)
Hannity protested, "She's smart enough not to dig us into this hole of socialism, she's smart enough not to cut our nukes in half, smart enough not to negotiate with Iran without preconditions, smart enough to understand capitalism works over socialism . . . ."
"She's smart enough not to cut our nukes in half," bleated Hannity. Hannity is, of course, no military expert, and never even served in the military -- but he apparently believes he and little Sarah know more about nuclear weapons than, say, "Retired U.S. generals and admirals [who] have repeatedly advocated junking all nuclear weapons, calling them ruinously expensive and of no military value." And, although Republicans are professing fear at the nuclear threat from North Korea and Iran, and "accuse Obama of near treason for having even considered junking America’s huge nuclear arsenal," the truth is that "North Korea has no long-ranged nuclear capability and wants nukes for defence against a possible U.S. nuclear attack . . . Iran has no nuclear weapons as of now and poses no threat to the distant U.S."
It was Juan Williams who left Hannity with nothing to say but a sarcastic "Okay" when Williams closing comment was that Palin was, "Smart enough to quit on the voters of Alaska before her term was up."
Palin herself during her Tonight Show appearance said that she was glad that she wasn't Vice President because she wouldn't know what to do with all of the free time.....
